Inspired by the very first painting I made in this style, which was initially  inspired by a holiday snapshot of someone poolside. I painted it, put it in my studio window, and it sold within hours, before I'd had time to think about whether the style would go anywhere. Recreating it five years later, I can see exactly how far the technique and the application have come. But everything else in this collection started here.
